Node.js development company
APIs, real-time services and integrations in Node.js, delivered at a fixed price and date by senior engineers working AI-first.
(01) What we build
What we build with Node.js.
REST and GraphQL APIs
Typed APIs with validation, authentication and generated documentation for web and mobile clients.
Real-time services
Live dashboards, chat and notifications over WebSockets, built to reconnect cleanly and scale out.
Third-party integrations
Payments, messaging, CRM and accounting connections with retries, webhooks and logs you can trace.
Back ends for SaaS
Multi-tenant services with billing hooks, background jobs and queues behind a clean API.
Backend for front end layers
Thin Node.js layers that shape data for a React, Vue.js or mobile client.
Serverless functions
Event-driven functions on AWS for tasks that run occasionally and should cost nothing when idle.
(02) Why Techrays
Fixed price, AI-augmented, yours.
Predictable scope for async work
Node.js systems often involve queues, webhooks and third-party APIs, which are easy to underestimate. We list each integration in the proposal, so the fixed price covers them and there are no surprise extras.
AI helps, engineers decide
AI drafts route handlers, validation schemas and tests, and an engineer reviews every line for error handling, security and load behaviour. Architecture decisions such as queues and caching stay with senior people.
Portable by design
We build on open source Node.js with standard tooling, so the service runs on your cloud, ours or a single server. Your team receives the code, the deployment scripts and the documentation together.

(04) Process
From scope to launch.
DAYS 1–3
01
Scope and API design
We agree the endpoints, data model and any real-time needs, and choose between Express, Fastify or NestJS.
WEEK 1
02
Contracts and schema
OpenAPI contracts and a database schema reviewed with your front-end team before build.
WEEKS 2–5
03
Build and test
TypeScript services with automated tests, input validation and rate limiting added as the code is written.
WEEK 6+
04
Deploy
Containerised release with logs, metrics and alerts, and a load test on the busiest endpoints.

(06) FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is Node.js best suited for?
Node.js suits I/O-heavy work such as APIs, real-time features and integrations, and it lets a team share TypeScript between server and client. For heavy computation or data science we may suggest Python or Java.
Do you use TypeScript with Node.js?
Yes, by default. Types catch mistakes between services early and make later changes cheaper.
Can you build real-time features?
Yes. We build live updates over WebSockets, handle reconnects and design the server so it scales across several instances.
How do you keep a Node.js API reliable?
We add request validation, structured logging, health checks and rate limits, and run tests and dependency audits in the pipeline before every release.
Which Node.js framework do you use?
We choose between Express, Fastify and NestJS based on the team and the size of the service. NestJS suits larger structured back ends, while Fastify or Express keep small services light. We use TypeScript in all of them.
Can Node.js handle real-time features?
Yes. WebSockets are a natural fit for live dashboards, chat and notifications, and WebSockets are a technology we have used in delivered products. We design connection limits and reconnect behaviour so it holds under load.
How do you secure a Node.js API?
Input validation on every route, authenticated and rate-limited endpoints, dependency scanning in the pipeline and secrets kept out of the code. Security checks run on each merge, in line with our ISO 27001:2022 practice.
Do you build microservices or one service?
We usually start with a well-organised single service and split out pieces only when scale or team boundaries demand it. Early microservices add operational cost that most new products do not need.
