ASP.NET Core development company

Secure, high-performance ASP.NET Core services and Azure-hosted apps for business systems, delivered at a fixed price by senior engineers working AI-first.

(01) What we build

What we build with ASP.NET Core.

  • Web APIs and services

REST and gRPC services in C# with clear contracts, versioning and documentation that other teams can build against.

  • Business operations systems

Workflow, approvals, reporting and records for operations teams, built around how your business actually runs.

  • Enterprise integrations

Connect ERP, CRM, payment and identity systems through queues and APIs, with retries and logging you can trace.

  • Fintech back ends

Ledgers, payment orchestration and reconciliation jobs with strict validation, idempotent endpoints and an audit trail.

  • Azure-hosted applications

Apps designed for Azure App Service, containers and managed databases, with infrastructure written as code.

  • Legacy .NET Framework migrations

Move .NET Framework apps to modern .NET in stages, keeping the system running while code and hosting are updated.

(02) Why Techrays

Fixed price, AI-augmented, yours.

  • Fixed price on the Microsoft stack

ASP.NET Core projects often connect to Azure services and existing Windows systems. We list those integrations in the proposal, so the price and date cover them and nothing is left as an unknown.

  • AI-assisted, engineer-owned

AI drafts controllers, tests and documentation for .NET services, and senior engineers own the domain model, data access and security. Every pull request is reviewed before it reaches your main branch.

  • Open source runtime, your assets

.NET is open source and runs on Linux, Windows and containers, so you are not forced into one hosting choice. Code, pipelines and infrastructure definitions are delivered to you in full.

(03) Ecosystem

The .NET ecosystem we use.

  • ASP.NET Core
  • C#
  • Entity Framework Core
  • Dapper
  • SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • Blazor
  • SignalR
  • xUnit
  • Docker
  • Azure DevOps
  • GitHub Actions

(04) Process

From scope to launch.

  1. DAYS 1–3

    01

    Scope and architecture

We choose between minimal APIs, MVC or a modular monolith and agree the data model and integrations.

  2. WEEK 1

    02

    API contract

OpenAPI contracts and an EF Core schema reviewed with you before the first endpoint is written.

  3. WEEKS 2–5

    03

    Build and test

ASP.NET Core services with xUnit tests, CI on every commit and code review by a senior engineer.

  4. WEEK 6+

    04

    Deploy

Containerised release to Azure or your host, with health checks, logging and a documented rollback.

(06) FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is ASP.NET Core the same as .NET Framework?

No. ASP.NET Core runs on modern, cross-platform .NET and is faster, lighter and actively developed. .NET Framework is the older Windows-only platform. We build new work on modern .NET and migrate older apps.

Do I have to host on Azure?

No. ASP.NET Core runs on Linux containers and other clouds as well. We recommend Azure when your team already uses Microsoft services, and we will say so plainly when another host fits better.

Can you migrate our .NET Framework application?

Yes. We assess the code, packages and dependencies, then plan a staged migration with a fixed scope. The system stays live while parts move to modern .NET.

How do you secure .NET applications?

We use built-in identity and authorisation, validate input at every boundary, keep secrets out of source control and run dependency and static analysis checks in the pipeline. See our security page for our wider practices.

Does .NET Core run on Linux?

Yes. Modern .NET runs on Linux, Windows and macOS, and is commonly deployed in containers. Running on Linux often lowers hosting cost, and we help you pick what suits your operations.

Can you move an old .NET Framework application forward?

Yes. We assess the code, identify libraries that block the move and migrate in steps, often module by module. Tests are added first, so each step can be verified before it is released.

Do you build on Azure?

Yes. Typical setups use App Service or containers, Azure SQL or Postgres, and managed identity for secrets. We also keep infrastructure defined as code so environments can be recreated reliably.

Which database do you use with ASP.NET Core?

SQL Server and PostgreSQL are both common, accessed through Entity Framework Core or lighter libraries where speed matters. We pick based on your existing estate, licensing and reporting needs.

What does an ASP.NET Core development company do?

It designs, builds and maintains web applications, APIs and back-end services on Microsoft's ASP.NET Core framework. We handle scoping, development, testing, deployment and support at a fixed price.

Are ASP.NET Core, .NET Core and dotnet core the same thing?

Closely related. ASP.NET Core is the web framework that runs on modern .NET, which was formerly called .NET Core. The names are often used interchangeably, and we build on the current .NET releases.

How much does ASP.NET Core development cost?

Fixed-price ASP.NET Core projects start from about $6k for an MVP and rise with scope, integrations and compliance needs. You get a fixed quote after a free 30-minute scoping call.
