INDUSTRIES / ECOMMTECH
eCommTech built for catalogue size and peak traffic.
Storefronts, catalogues, search and checkout that stay fast as your range and your audience grow, at a fixed price.
(01) Typical products
What we build for commerce.
- STORE
Custom storefronts
Fast, brandable shopping experiences on Laravel and Vue.js, or headless on Medusa when you need many channels.
- CATALOGUE
Catalogue and PIM
Large product ranges with variants, attributes, pricing rules and bulk import that does not fall over.
- SEARCH
Search and discovery
Elasticsearch-powered search with filters, facets, typo tolerance and merchandising controls.
- CHECKOUT
Checkout and payments
Carts, promotions, taxes, shipping options and payment methods tuned to cut abandonment.
- OPS
Orders and inventory
Order management, stock sync, returns and integrations to warehouses and ERPs such as Odoo.
- MARKET
Marketplaces
Multi-vendor onboarding, commissions, payouts and seller dashboards on a single codebase.
(02) What matters
What matters in retail.
Shoppers leave in seconds. The details below decide whether a store converts or churns.
Performance at scale
Product pages and search results are cached close to the shopper, images are optimised, and the database is shaped for large catalogues.
Search that finds the product
Relevance tuning, synonyms and filters are part of the build, because shoppers who cannot find an item do not buy it.
Checkout reliability
Payments are the last place to fail. We build retries, idempotent orders and clear error states, and design with PCI-DSS in mind by using hosted payment fields.
Peak-season readiness
Sale days are traffic spikes. We load-test the cart and checkout paths and set up autoscaling before the campaign, not during it.
(03) Architecture
A layered stack, on open source.
A commerce platform separates what shoppers see from what runs the business, so a traffic spike never blocks an order.

(07) FAQ
eCommTech questions, answered.
Should we build custom or use a platform like Shopify?
If your range, pricing rules or workflows fit a hosted platform, use one; it is cheaper. We build custom when catalogue size, integrations or margins make a platform the limit. We will say so in discovery if you do not need us.
Can you build headless commerce?
Yes. We use Medusa as an open-source commerce core with a Next.js or Vue.js storefront when you need web, app and marketplace channels from one back end. Open source means no per-order platform fees and no lock-in.
How do you keep a large catalogue fast?
Elasticsearch handles search and filtering, Redis caches hot pages and carts, images go through a CDN, and bulk imports run as background jobs. We test with realistic catalogue sizes, not a demo of fifty products.
Do you handle payments and PCI-DSS?
We integrate Stripe and other gateways using hosted fields, so card numbers never touch your servers, which keeps your PCI-DSS scope small. We design with PCI-DSS in mind; your acquirer defines your formal assessment.
Can you build marketplace features?
Yes. Vendor onboarding, listings, split payments, commissions and payouts, with a review process for sellers. Payments run through a provider that supports marketplaces.
How do you handle sales peaks like Black Friday?
We load test beforehand, cache catalogue pages, queue slow tasks and set alerts. We agree an expected peak with you and plan capacity for it.
