Markets / New Zealand
AI-driven software development for New Zealand teams.
New Zealand is the furthest market from our standard day, and we say so plainly. Overlap is short unless we shift the team, so the useful question is how you want to split the day: live hours with a small squad, or an overnight build you review each morning.
(01) Why us
Why New Zealand teams choose us.
Fixed price in NZD
One proposal with scope, date and price in New Zealand dollars. MVP Sprints from about NZ$10k (placeholder, confirmed in your quote).
Honest overlap numbers
Standard overlap is around 1.5 hours; a shifted squad gives a full 9.0. Many NZ teams choose a middle option, with a short daily call and a handover note.
Privacy Act aware
Designed with the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles in mind, including breach notification to the Privacy Commissioner.
(02) Coverage
Your hours, our working day.
1.5 h core overlap / 9.0 h shifted · 08:30 to 17:00 NZST or NZDT · NZD
Auckland is UTC+12, or UTC+13 in daylight saving between September and April. At 09:00 in Auckland it is 01:30 or 02:30 in Ahmedabad, so only the tail of your morning meets our start. This is why we recommend either a shifted early squad or an asynchronous rhythm, where you review a written update and a working build at the start of each NZ day.
Asynchronous work suits small teams that already run lean. Because we work while you sleep, a question raised at 17:00 in Auckland can often be answered before you return, if the team has a clear definition of done and a written brief for each ticket.
The Privacy Act 2020 introduced mandatory notification of serious privacy breaches and rules on overseas disclosure (IPP 12). Firms sending personal information abroad must take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection. We sign data-processing terms and can host in Australian or NZ-adjacent regions where required.

(06) FAQ
Questions from New Zealand.
How can we work with so little overlap?
Pick a shifted squad for live hours, or an async rhythm with a short call and written daily updates. We agree which in the proposal. The async option works well for founders who prefer to review progress each morning, with a short call when a decision is needed.
Do you serve very small teams?
Yes. Fixed-price MVP Sprints suit founders and small businesses without in-house engineering. A typical engagement starts with one user journey built end to end, so you can test the idea with customers before paying for the rest.
How is overseas data handling treated?
The Privacy Act 2020 expects reasonable steps for overseas disclosure. We sign data-processing terms and limit access, and your own advisor confirms your obligations. Overseas disclosure also covers hosting and support tools, so we list the services involved in your proposal and keep access limited to the people who need it.
Can pricing be in NZD?
Yes. Indicative starting prices are placeholders until your scoping call. Quotes can be given in NZD, and the proposal states what is included so nothing arrives as a surprise later.
